About Us
I am Dave and welcome to my website. My name is David Wixon. I am based in Desborough, Northamptonshire and serve the county plus around Market Harborough.
After many years of doing DIY, woodwork, odd jobs I decided last year to go full time as Dave of All trades. As well as more manual tasks I can do computer based work such as websites and databases. I did this work from 2004 with my own limited company, mainly as a contractor.
I have done gardening for over forty years, starting while I was still at school under the guidance of my grandad. Woodwork was influenced from my step father also during my teenage years. Growing up with a large garden gave me plenty of scope for garden and woodwork projects. At each house I lived in this continued, adding fencing, decking plus inside tasks like fitting kitchens and laminate floor to my repertoire.
So in my first year of fulltime handyman work I have done garden maintenance, landscaping, fencing, slab laying, DIY fixing type tasks, painting, polycarbonate roof fitting, carport creation, astro-turf installing and fence painting. My speciality is garden makeovers which utilise a number of these skills. This can be one big project or a number of smaller tasks spread over a few months.

This is my standard work area. I basically work between the M1 to the west and the A1 to the east. The the A47 to the north and the A45 to the south.
